To click or not to click...

Ok... Ive run out of stuff to write for this week, so i decided to do some random photography... Borrowed a SLR from a friend, went to the nearby park and clicked some pics... Now i need some VERY HONEST feedback from you guys... I wanna know the following things:

1. Should i get an SLR camera for myself and take this a lil more seriously, or shud i just stick to writing random stuff?

2. Any tips on how to improve the images? I am a complete novice at this..

Your feedback would change my life forever...
Naa.. i just wanted to sound like one of those American/Indian/Timbuktoo Idol contestants...

I might take this up even if u guys said I sucked.. but again thats just me.. :)
